PETROS L. IOANNOU
LEAD WRITER - CEO
An award-winning writer/producer, Petros is the founder and CEO of Leon Films, though he rarely likes to go by that title preferring the titles of Producer as that's what he does - he produces content. He developed the original idea for My Life as a Video Game was its writer and lead actor. He is the primary driving force behind Leon Films and a contributor the Leon Creatives blog. A screenwriter by trade, his primary focus is in telling stories with his Masters in Screenwriting and nearly a decade as a professional author.
PRODUCER - DIRECTOR
Brian Dickson is a technological wizard and the all-seeing eye of Leon Films' camera department. Starting out as a Director of Photography on My Life as a Video Game, he has expanded that role into developing other projects as a Producer in concert with Petros Ioannou, many of which are currently in development such as "The Grey Area" and "Spectrum". Brian has worked for a variety of companies from documentary production, to selling a series to Discovery as Lead Producer and now works with a focus on live-production for huge conglomerates such as Facebook and Amazon.
Kelsey is an integral part of our team, often keeping organization of our production and ensuring that at each step of the production process runs smoothly. She has worked with us on several accounts in recent months for original productions such as “Jean Patrique Cookware” and “House of Spells”. . Kelsey is also an actress in her own right, having stars in the two-part series "Parallel Sins" for Leon Films and most recently our million-view original fan film "Sisters of House Black", which she was also the lead Producer and writer for.
CREATIVE ART DIRECTOR
Fashion Stylist, Media Marketing Manager, Real Estate Agent, April Joy wore many hats before becoming a Producer for Leon Films. She joined in 2012 as part of the My Life as a Video Game team originally handling costumes but slowly taking on more and more responsibilities as development progressed finally becoming the head of Art Direction and a Producer on the project responsible for most artistic creative decisions and personnel management. When we have a convention to present at, a pitch to make or a set to build, April leads the charge.
Anna Anatolitou is the Head of Business development and shareholder in Leon Films. She works with the creative team to bring in new clients, brand partners and distribution deals for our original content. Outside of Leon Films she is a Partner at leading international city law firm, practicing Aviation and Travel law. Whilst she is now based in the UK, She preciously spent seven years in the UAE where she was Group General Counsel for a major airline and travel group and headed the Middle East Aviation and Dispute Resolution practices of another international firm.
Jamie Holmewood is our Assistant Director on set and creative liaison off set. Jamie is a former member of the British Military having served as an Army Medic and now pursues a career in the creative arts. He is an avid world traveller having been from Nigeria to Los Angeles and even visited Priytpat in Ukraine, the site of the legendary Chernobyl nuclear disaster. The role of an assistant director on a film includes tracking daily progress against the filming production schedule, arranging logistics, preparing daily call sheets, checking cast and crew, and maintaining order on the set. They also have to take care of the health and safety of the crew.
